The Art of Nature

Held at the Spark Gallery located within Kendall College of Art and Design, The Art of Nature was an exhibition curated and led by myself with help from Kaylee Dirkmaat and Ally Grant. Our exhibition aimed at giving a space for the natural science illustrators at Kendall to showcase their artwork. Natural science illustration bridges the gap between art and science, pairing visual beauty with scientific context to deepen a viewer's connection to a subject. As a natural science illustrator I found it important that my peers be able to have a space where their work is highlighted. During our show we had a guest speaker and an observational field sketching workshop. Below are photos from the exhibition enjoy!
